We believe we can make a difference. We believe that love is the answer. Even if we don’t know all the answers. Isn’t it ironic?!
Late stage capitalism - with its business models and working environments, its supply chains and products - is hitting the wall. We won’t change this system. We won’t change the industries we are affiliated with. We aren’t that megalomaniac. But we will try hard to change the lives of the people who’ll be in touch with us. Because we believe that it’s possible to inspire and bring positive change to the ecosystem and the community we will be associated with by leading through example.
We believe that we should not remain silent & complicit and should call out those who contribute to:
- a work environment that doesn’t respect employees.
- an approach to farming and growing that doesn’t respect nature.
- an understanding of art and creativity that is exclusive and elitist.
- the dark art of pretending to be what they aren’t.
- anti-intellectualism.
Hope AND despair are justified. Every day we will try riding the edge of that wave that emerges from where those two currents meet in the most gracious and skilled way.
We will plunge. But we won’t drown.
